General Rules for all contests


1. Each contest is open to all qualified persons 55 years of age or older except the following:

a. Employees of the Senior Saver Guide and related companies; household members, siblings, and parents of said company employees;
b. Employees of any hired graphic artists, publishers, printing companies, agents or advertisers, and their immediate family members;

1c. Contest for the 37" Flat Screen TV is open to participants of all ages!

There is no purchase necessary.

2. A total of one prize may be won per household address, name, and or family residing in same, per contest, whether the prize be in cash, services, or merchandise.

3. Persons who have previously won a prize of either cash, services, or merchandise from the Senior Saver Guide, either from a contest or a publication event, are subject to the following restrictions:

a. Persons who have won a prize valued up to $100 in the last 90 days are not eligible to win.
b. Persons who have won a prize valued between $101 and $499 in the last 120 days are not eligible to win.
c. Persons who have won a prize valued between $500 and $999 in the last 9 months are not eligible to win.
d. Persons who have won a prize valued at $1,000 or more in the last 12 months are not eligible to win.
These restrictions also apply to immediate household members of contest or prize winners.

4. The winner will be responsible for any tax liability associated with winning this contest. Winner will be required to sign an eligibility release form and give Senior Saver Guide permission to use their name and/or photo for promotional purposes without further compensation. By accepting prize, winner releases the Senior Saver Guide and all participating sponsors from any liability as a result of this prize. Senior Saver Guide reserves the right to substitute prizes of similar or greater value. Senior Saver Guide shall not be responsible to replace prize tickets to events, which are cancelled and the event sponsors do not issue replacement tickets.

5. Senior Saver Guide is not responsible for misdirected or mis-spelled email addresses.

6. Copies of these rules are available online or by mailing a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Senior Saver Guide, 1055 W Red Cliffs Drive Suite C#526, Washington, Utah, 84780.

7. All decisions by the judges and/or administrators of the contest are final.

8. Prizes will not be awarded until winner has been verified for eligibility through the Senior Saver Guide Business Office. Verification may take up to 1 week. Prizes must be claimed in a timely manner. Prized not picked up within 30 days will be considered abandoned. Some prizes may expire. Senior Saver Guide will not be required to replace expired items.

9. Prizes are non-transferable and will be awarded to the winner only, based on eligibility.

10. Picture ID may be required in order to claim a prize.

11. Prize will not be mailed. Winner must pick up prize in person and sign proof of receipt and contest rules.

12. Contest rules may be modified by Senior Saver Guide at any time.



Additional Information Regarding The Current Promotion.

Senior Saver Guy or Gal Rules & Regulations

The winner of this promotion will be granted the title of “Senior Saver Guy or Gal” and the opportunity to enjoy the limelight of this title for an entire year!

As the winning contestant, you will enjoy the use of the “Senior Saver Saturn” (for one year), the $1000.00 (six month) savings CD, and many other opportunities and perks throughout the year! The winner will be decided by the owners and management of the Senior Saver Guide.  The winner will be determined by evaluating the information listed on the entry forms submitted by entrants for the contest.  The most qualified person will be awarded the use of the car (for one year) from Saturn of St. George and the $1000.00 (six month) CD from Town and Country Bank.  The Senior Saver guy or gal, the winning contestant will need to participate with us for up to 3 hours per week on selected events, functions, and/or promotions held from time to time, throughout the year as we promote the Senior Saver Guide and Website. At these events you may be asked to, among other things, hand out literature, present awards, or rub shoulders with the community.

Opportunities:

The Senior Saver Guy or Gal will need to commit to attending at least one event each week where the Senior Saver Saturn can be displayed for promotional purposes.  If the Senior Saver Guy or Gal is unable to attend a requested event then the car must be made available for a replacement representative to use for said event. The Senior Saver Guy or Gal must always have the best interest of the Senior Saver Guide and its promotional partners in mind.  The Senior Saver Guy or Gal will be an authorized representative of the Senior Saver Guide in the public and in the media.

Image Release:

The Senior Saver Guy or Gal contest winner will agree to release their personal image for public display and for promotional purposes of the Senior Saver Guide.  They will be asked to sign a release that will give Senior Saver guide the legal right to use their image on any form of promotional materials, advertising or printed materials.

Liability:

Senior Saver Guide will not be responsible for the safety of the contest winner, passengers in the car, or any damage to the vehicle while acting as the Senior Saver Guy or Gal. Contest winner will be responsible for maintaining motor vehicle insurance per Utah state law and proof of insurance must be provided by the contest winner for a one year period from May 1st 2009 to May 1st 2010.

Vacation, Absence, and Severability:

If for any reason the Senior Saver Guy or Gal is unable to perform their duties then the management of the Senior Saver Guide has the right to temporarily replace the Senior Saver Guy or Gal with the person of their choosing.  The Senior Saver Saturn must be made available in the event the Senior Saver Guy or Gal is unable to perform their essential responsibility. In the event the person chosen to be the Senior Saver Guy or Gal is unable to adequately participate in the Senior Saver Promotional Program, the owners and management team at the Senior Saver Guide reserves the right to revoke the Senior Saver title and place another person in that position along with the car.

Mileage and Boundaries:

The Senior Saver Saturn is not to leave Washington County without the permission of the Senior Saver Management and Saturn of Saint George.  Mileage limitations will be set by the owner of the vehicle (Saturn of St. George). These limitations will be explained to the Senior Saver Guy or Gal prior to taking possession of the vehicle.  An agreement will be signed by the Senior Saver Guy or Gal and Saturn of St. George that clarifies both mileage and boundary limitations for the Senior Saver Saturn.
